Enjoy the drive through the Derwent Valley, past New Norfolk and into rich farming land as we head south-west to Mount Field National Park. Walk among towering swamp gums, myrtle and tall man ferns as you head to Russell Falls in Mount Field National Park. The magnificent Russell Falls is the most photographed waterfall in Tasmania. You’ll understand why when you see it. The ecologist will guide you through the Tall Trees Walk where you can discover more about the world’s tallest flowering plant – the giant swamp gum.
