Departure: Siem Reap, Cambodia

This 3-day cycle tour of Angkor will acquaint you with the history and religions of this fascinating modern day region, along with the architecture and lifestyles of the past whilst enjoying an active journey. The flat roads around Angkor are ideally suited to travelling by bike. As we are cycling we can get off the normal tourist route and get a fantastic understanding of Cambodia and its people. The opportunity for spontaneous meetings with local people whilst cycling amongst this wonder of the world makes a bicycle one of the best ways to view the magnificent temples of Angkor. We visit the must see temples of Bayon with it’s 37 free standing towers, each with 4 carved faces, Ta Prohm with its jungle overgrowth and the magnificent Angkor Wat. We then visit the lesser known Roluos group which was the region's first capital before experiencing life in the stilted villages of the Tonle Sap Lake.
