Day 3: Travel to Urbino via Monte Conero
Leaving Ascoli behind, you will be taken on a tour of Monte Conero with lunch and a wine tasting before continuing to your hotel in Urbino. Monte Conero is a limestone rocky promontory which juts out of the coast standing 500 metres tall before slopping down onto a beautiful beach. Situated in an area known for its wine and cuisine, there is no better place to enjoy lunch.
Day 4: Tour of Urbino
A must-do whilst in Italy, this guided tour of Urbino will reveal many historical facts and secrets about this astonishing place. Day 5: Travel to Perugia via Gubbio

Gubbio which sits at the foot of the Ingino Mount is one of the most ancient medieval towns in the Umbria region. Day 6: Discover Perugia
Today, your guide will take you on a tour that will quench your thirst for knowledge! A city steeped in rich monuments, you'll begin at the centrepiece of Perugia - Fontana Maggiore. Created in the 13th century, the fountain is covered in 50 bas reliefs and 24 statues depicting scenes from the Bible and the founding of Rome. After exploring the Perugia Cathedral and the National Gallery, you'll enjoy the afternoon at your leisure discovering local shops or relaxing by the bar.
Day 7: Tour of Montepulciano & Chianciano Terme
Today, you'll dive into the Tuscan countryside to explore Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme. Montepulciano, famous for the wine bearing the same name and Chianciano Terme, famous for its natural spas, are two places not to be missed. On this guided tour you will also stop in Lake Trasimeno for a lunch where you'll take in the glorious landscape of the lake.
Day 8: Goodbye Italy!
