This five-day Nepal trip is an immersive nature experience that allows you to discover the wonders of the often overlooked parts of this country.Bardia National Park is situated in the mid-far western Terai, east of the Karnali River. It covers 968 square kilometres of land and is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in the Terai. About 70% of the park is covered with Sal forest with a balanced mixture of grassland, savanna and riverine forest. Since farming has ceased in the Babai valley, natural vegetation is regenerating, making it an area of prime habitat for wildlife. The park provides excellent habitat for endangered animals like the rhinoceros, wild elephant, tigers, swamp deer, blackbuck, gharial crocodile, marsh mugger crocodile and the Gangetic dolphin. During this short trip, you'll have a great chance of seeing all of these while walking and driving around the national park.
