Day 1: Welcome to Venice - The Most Romantic City in Italy
Welcome to Venice! At the airport, you will meet your private English-speaking driver who will accompany you to your centrally located hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to relax after your journey and start discovering this unique city. The good thing about Venice is that everything is relatively close, so even a walk from Piazza San Marco to the Rialto Bridge is perfectly enjoyable at any time of the day; besides ‘getting lost’ here is such a wonderful adventure!
Day 2: Walking Tour to Discover the Best of Venice with Cicchetti Experience
This morning, you will meet up with your local guide for a walking food tour getting to the heart of the city through its stomach. You’ll travel with a local foodie; learning, exploring the local market and tasting the best food and wine that Venice has to offer! You will learn how to savour the local street foods called “Cicchetti” such as marinated olives and polenta wedges topped with seafood. This tour provides a great introduction to the distinct flavours of Venetian Cuisine.
Day 3: Travel to Florence - The Capital of Culture and Good Food
Today, after breakfast, you will check out from your hotel to be transferred to your next fabulous destination, Florence, the 'Renaissance City of Europe'. You'll take the train from Venice and be met at the other end by your driver who will take you to your hotel in the city. You'll then have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to explore the city on your own.
Day 4: Chianti Wine Tour in the Tuscan Hills
Get ready for an enchanting day in the Tuscan hills as you meet up with your local guide this morning ready for your Chianti wine tour. You will explore one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes and immerse yourself in stunning scenery characterised by vineyards, cypress trees and golden hilltop villages which benefit from wonderful views. Your guide will take you to a local wine estate for a lunch with a sommelier-led wine tasting before you visit a local farm to complete the tour.
Day 5: Departure from Florence
After breakfast at your hotel, you will need to check out, because it is time to say “Arriverderci” to Italy! Your English-speaking driver will accompany you to Florence airport for your flight back home.
