Introducing an unforgettable two-day guided hike that explores Queenslands beautiful Scenic Rim region, located approximately 1.5 hours from Brisbane's CBD. Explore the most breathtaking natural treasures by day, before indulging in beautiful accommodation each night. This truly unique adventure starts in the foothills of South East Queenslands Main Range National Park; an area famous for its stunning collection of mountain ranges, escarpments, forests and ancient volcanic plateaus. Rare and endangered wildlife species including Koalas, Glossy Black Cockatoos, one of the two only remaining Alberts Lyrebird species in Australia, Eastern Grey Kangaroos and Brush-Tailed Rock Wallabies have all been sighted along the trail. Experienced and knowledgeable guides will lead you through a region that contains more than 30,000 hectares of parkland, numerous state forests and national parks. Combined with large portions of private land, including Spicers Peak Station, a 2000-hectare nature refuge, you'll enjoy a rare opportunity to explore land previously only touched by early pioneers. Walkers explore the World Heritage listed wilderness and private nature refuges. Featuring in-depth interpretation, Spicers Scenic Rim Trail is so much more than a walk. Each night guests will enjoy luxurious accommodation at Spicers Canopy. This is the ultimate glamping experience in the Queensland bush, made complete with chef-prepared meals. Relax around the campfire with a glass of wine, cheese and new friends, or head to the plunge pool for sunset in the Australian bush.
