This 18-day Nepal trekking package takes you along the scenic landscapes of the Langtang Valley to the serene turquoise waters of the Gosaikunda Lake. The trek commences after a 150-kilometre drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trail gradually ascends upstream along the Bhote Koshi river passing through the funky flower clusters and forests of the Langtang valley to the alpine meadows and yak pastures around Kyangjin. After a challenging ascent to the Kyangjin Ri (4773 metres), you can behold the 360-degree spectacular mountain views. You'll continue trailing towards Thulo Syabru and to the sacred Gosainkunda Lake, perched at an elevation of 4380 metres. The trip winds up with a drive back to Kathmandu from the last point of Chisapani Sundarijal.The Langtang region boasts a varied topography from subtropical to alpine forests. There are a number of rhododendrons, oak, pine, maples and other trees along with animals like Himalayan black bear, Rhesus monkey, red pandas, Himalayan Tahr and more.
